There is a large section for saddlery and riding items, together with the horses and ponies themselves. No catalogue is produced, but if you wish to enter, please contact the office for an entry form or email the details to info@thimbleby-shorland.co.uk. The horses are accepted for sale on the Friday morning, so if you wish to sell, please come to the market in good time and supply us with the details.

There are three warranties at Reading Horse Sales and these are Quiet to Ride, Quiet to Drive and Good Hunter. A warranted horse must be fully shod and sound in eye, heart, wind and action and it is the choice of the vendor to place the warranty.

Any purchaser of a warranted animal has until the following Monday at noon to try, test and vet, and if necessary, return the horse.
