17 VICTORIAN BATH CHAIR, circa 1885; painted yellow with blue upholstery and a black leather hood, and in need of refurbishment. The enclosed body is on three wooden wheels with front tiller steering
21 LONDON MARKET CART, on pneumatics, to suit 13-2 to 14-2 hh; the body painted burgundy, on cream unders. In good order, with chamfered edges to the woodwork, a wide front seat, sides, tailboard and shafts
22 VICTORIA by N Larson circa 1900 to suit 14 to 16 hh; painted dark green with green upholstery. Used until recently for weddings, having a black hood, handbrake and shafts; some touching up is required to the lining
23 WAGONETTE / OMNIBUS, circa 1890, to suit 14-2 to 16 hh, single or pair; smartly finished in dark green and black, with white/cream lining, patent dash and arched splash boards, new black vinyl driver's seat, new matting and the original red cord interior. An attractive and compact carriage, on warner wheels and elliptic springs, with bowed front windows, which has been used by the vendor for weddings for 20 years, before being painted and refurbished two years ago and since stored. 29 NORFOLK CART by Chas. Windover of London & Manchester to suit 13 to 13-2 hh; painted Oxford blue with red and gold lining, and upholstered in black Connolly hide. In show condition, with a brass footbell
32 BOW TOP GYPSY WAGON to suit approx. 15 hh; painted green on cream unders, with a new canvas. In good order, the interior being fitted with a stove, and to be sold with shafts
33 SQUARE BOW WAGON built by Len & Linda Smith of Forest Edge Wheelwrights in 1983, and until recently on show at the Paultons Park Romany Museum. The matchboard body painted red, with green, blue, gold and white scrolls, lining and decoration, on small iron shod wheels, painted light yellow, with blue and red decoration. The porch has a central gold horse head, with scrolls and shell to the door, there are shutters to the side windows and a small window to the rear, above a pan box. The boarded interior is in a simulated wood finish, with white lining and blue and green scrolls, the bed compartment with carved wooden panels, one showing two horses, the other with squirrels and pheasants. There is a Queenie stove with relief fruit and fretwork, with chimney, in metal fire surround painted cream with red classical scrolls, below a bevelled glass mirror and mantelpiece, with narrow cupboards inside the entrance, with further cupboards and small compartments. 34 BURTON GYPSY WAGON, built and painted by the vendor as a replica of an original wagon and completed over a period of four years. The body is in burgundy and yellow, with gold and multi coloured edging and decoration, on yellow unders lines in red. The lower ribs have been chamfered and the edges scalloped, with coloured glass to the windows and floral quarter lights, the floral motif being echoed in the porch brackets. A well constructed example, fully fitted inside, which has been shown at local steam rallies and the Dorset steam fair, and is for sale due to retirement (12 ft. long x 6 ft. 6 in. wide x 11 ft. high)

35 READING GYPSY WAGON thought to be by Dunton of Reading circa 1900 to suit a large horse; restored to a high standard and finished in burgundy, with blue and red highlights to the chamfered ribs, and coloured scrolls on the waist board, on a light yellow undercarriage with red and green edges and lining. The porch has gargoyle heads and the glass in the windows and door has been etched; the interior is in very good order with yew furniture. The original wheels have been fully restored, and the original leaf springs and turntable remain, with finishing touches to the calico roof, hayrack and front panels required.
