Notice to Buyers
To be read in conjunction with our Conditions of Sale for Online Auctions & Tenders (see Terms and Conditions section of our website www.tsauction.co.uk or available on request from the office).
All lots are sold as seen without Warranty and are available for inspection prior to sale, all lots are sold on the understanding that they may be suitable for spares or repair only. We strongly recommend that you view before bidding.
Please note that bidding at auction constitutes an irrevocable and binding agreement to purchase. Bids cannot be rescinded once placed. We recommend that you carefully examine any items you intend to bid on as refunds will not be given for Buyer’s Remorse
Registration: Bidders must register at www.tsauction.co.uk The auctioneers reserve the right to take a £200 deposit from all bidders on registering for this auction. Refunds of deposits to unsuccessful bidders will be instigated by the auctioneers within 48 hours of the sale closing, however, some banks take up to 5 working days to process refunds.
The Auctioneers cannot be held responsible for bank charges or any deficit in deposit refunds as a result of currency fluctuations.
Descriptions: All lots are sold as seen and Buyers must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of any description given in the catalogue or by any other means. All lots are sold without warranty of any kind. Buyers are strongly recommended to make a physical inspection of any lot or lots before bidding.
Buyer’s Premium: A charge of 20% of the sale price of every lot, plus VAT, will be payable by all Buyers.
Value Added Tax (VAT): Some lots carry VAT on the hammer price – this will be advised on the individual lot.
Payment: All Lots are to be paid for in full, including buyers’ premium, by no later than 4pm on Thursday 1st October. Methods of payment are Cash (see below for terms); debit card; bank transfer. Our bank details will be found on your invoice. (Any purchaser defaulting on payment will automatically lose their deposit.)
Payment in Cash: In order to comply with money laundering regulations, we will not accept payments in cash exceeding £9,000. Cash payments more than £4,000 must be accompanied by valid proof of identity i.e., passport/driving licence supported by two utility bills, bank statement or equivalent. Cash payments via your bank will not be permitted. The auctioneers will only accept payment from, and permit removal of goods purchased by the successful purchaser or their duly appointed agent. No lots will be transferred to third party invoices after the auction.
Keys: No keys are to be cut/made for vehicles until the invoice has been paid and proof will then need to be shown.
If you are not able to pay for a vehicle in accordance with these terms, then DO NOT BID.
Collection: All Lots are to be collected by no later than 4:00 pm on Thursday 1st October 2026 after which time a storage charge of £26 (plus VAT) per day will be levied as set out in clause 7.2.4 of our Conditions of Purchase. Please refer to the Motor Vehicles section of our website to see the full Conditions of Purchase or paper copies are available on request from the office. Proof of Identity will be required before any vehicle may be removed from the premises.
Please note – we do not deliver vehicles or arrange delivery and Buyers must be able to remove all vehicles by the time stated.
If you are not in a position to do this, then DO NOT BID.

Sign ups for this auction are provisional and subject to the approval of the auctioneer who will notify bidders by email.
There will be buyers' premium of 5% +VAT added to the hammer price of all large machinery and 10% +VAT on Livestock Equipment and Smaller lots, Minimum £5 +VAT.
Removal of Goods: All lots must be paid for immediately and collected by 4pm on Wednesday 21st October 2026.
All lots remain at the risk of the purchaser from the fall of the hammer.
The auctioneers reserve the right to take a £500 deposit from all bidders on registering for this auction. Refunds of deposits to unsuccessful bidders will be instigated by the auctioneers within 48 hours of the sale closing, however, some banks take up to 5 working days to process refunds.

Bidding will close from noon on Wednesday 14th October 2026. Invoices will be sent to successful purchasers. No sale is confirmed until an invoice has been issued.
The closing time of each lot will be staggered. If a bid is made on any lot during the final 5 minutes the bidding time of that lot will automatically be extended for a further 5 minutes.

Equally hour and kilometre readings are those showing on the machine on delivery to the auction site and cannot be relied upon if the clock is broken or a new one has been fitted. OVERSEAS PURCHASERS
We will do our utmost to assist with post Brexit export regulations. We are aware that the new requirement for customs declarations when purchasing goods from our UK sales and exporting to the EU is complex. All export buyers must contact us prior to purchasing to clarify what extra information you will require. We will prove our EORI number on all export invoices and can arrange customs declarations at cost. We are signed up with Customs Clearance Agents who will assist us with relevant declarations to enable equipment to leave England. The purchaser is responsible for all transportation from there onwards. The Auctioneers are not responsible for cleaning machines for export.
Buyers should ensure that the country of destination has no import or currency restrictions on the goods you wish to purchase. Our normal terms of business otherwise apply, and payment is due in full on the day of sale. Please note that all new overseas customers will be required to pay a VAT deposit. Export buyers requiring phytosanitary certificates should inform the auctioneers in plenty of time and are responsible for all charges relating to obtaining one.

This will only be refunded on receipt of valid proof of exportation (bill of lading) in compliance with H. M. Customs and Excise Notice 703 paragraph 3.5. To be valid the goods must be exported within three months of the date of sale and valid proof thereof must be provided within the same time limit
