The world famous Reading Carriage Sales have been in operation for over 40 years. There are now four sales annually in Reading with an additional one each summer in the North of England.
Over the years, carriages, sets of harness, sundry accoutrements and anything related to the art of carriage driving have been bought and sold by clients around the globe. The sales provide an important meeting place for driving and equestrian enthusiasts, as well as for those looking to buy and sell their items.

Coming up at our Spring Carriage Sale on Wednesday the 4th March 

Drop Well Pantechnicon by Curtiss & Sons, Ltd.,

Pearl Buildings, Portsmouth circa 1900

PARK DRAG built by Holland & Holland circa 1890

An original and rare example owing to its lightweight construction. In show condition it is finished in black with blue door panels and a red perch undercarriage lined in black.  

 Cab Fronted Hooded Gig

to suit 14 to 15.2hh.  In excellent condition, the Gig is painted black with wicker body panels and a leatherette hood lined with cream upholstery, inset with a small brass-trimmed oval window, and fitted with black patent mud guards. 

Town Coach built by Peters & Sons, London

to suit a full-size pair or team.  The body is finished in black with blue panelling and undercarriage with carved scrolled dub ends, all lined in red.
