On 16-spoke Warner wheels with brass hub caps engraved with the builder’s name, Dennett springs, curved dash and sides with mud guards. Both seating and foot rest are adjustable; there is a drop-down tail board, lamp brackets and a whip holder (1)

Lot 419 - ‘ROYS OF BOURNVILLE’ BREAD VAN built circa 1896 to suit 14 to 15.2 hh; painted bright red with a white roof and canopy overhanging the driver’s cab. The 14/16-spoke Warner wheels are painted yellow, with leaf springs and iron bonds, a short wheel base and a full underlock fore carriage. Fitted with a hand brake and lamp brackets made by Jonas Woodhead, Leeds. A very smart trade vehicle in show condition with sign written sides and rear door. The interior has fitted shelves and baskets, and the original door key. (1)
