Lot 1 - MASSEY HARRIS NO.33 HORSE-DRAWN MOWER, has been
used regularly, with a new pole fitted a few years ago.

Lot 3 - BAMLETT MOWER, painted red and yellow, with rear driver’s seat.
Lot 4 - HORSE-DRAWN MOWER, of Polish origin imported by Charles
Pinney of the Carthorse Co., relatively modern 1970’s with pole and
in working order
Lot 5 - CAMBRIDGESHIRE TIP CART by A. F. Human of Isleham, to suit
16 to 17.3hh; restored and repainted in period colours of blue with
red undercarriage, with iron shod wheels, and fitted with shaft
supports. All original ironwork.
Lot 6 - DELIVERY DRAY to suit 16.2hh plus; painted red with black
metalwork. Drop side flatbed sign written C.J. & S. Bransden, Lyne
Farm, Chertsey. A high driver’s sprung seat with twin cushions and
fitted seat belts. Also fitted with 12v indicators, brake lights and
hazard beacons, whip holder, hand and foot brakes. New pneumatic
tyres and a spare wheel, folding steps to the front and rear, shaft
lifting winch, shafts, pole, whippletrees, neck yoke, and ‘A’ frame
Lot 7 - TWO-WHEEL EXERCISE CART to suit 13-14hh pony.
Lot 8 - MARATHON/EXERCISE CARRIAGE to suit 12.2 to 14hh pair; a
smart vehicle painted black with black upholstered seating. Fitted
with brakes and comes with a pole.
Lot 9 - BENNINGTON FUN BUGGY to fit 13.2 to 15.2hh; painted green
with adjustable shafts for height and length. In very good condition
due to it being barn stored
Lot 10 - HARTLAND SHETLAND SPORT to fit 11 to 12hh; painted blue
with black upholstered groom’s and driver’s seat. In original
condition. Weighs approx. 140kg and axle width 125cms.
Lot 11 - TWO-WHEEL EXERCISE CART by Cumbrian Carriage to suit a
small 9 to 11hh pony; painted black with black upholstery. In original
Lot 12 - BENNINGTON BACK STEP BUGGY to suit 13 to 14hh; painted
black and natural varnished wood, with black vinyl cushion and back
rest. On 12-spoke, 37ins wheels with brass hubs. Fitted with a back
step, brass rein rail and whip holder. In very good condition, suitable
for exercise/pleasure classes or everyday exercise.
Lot 14 - BUTCHER’S CART to suit 14.2 to 15.2hh; built by Atkinson &
Davidson of Carlisle, in show condition, painted brown with yellow
lining and sign written ‘Butcher & Grazier’ on the sides. On a yellow
undercarriage with brown lining, 14-spoke Warner wheels with brass
hub caps and transverse and semi-elliptic springs. There are air
vents immediately under the driver’s seat, and above the rear door, on
which is painted a bull’s head and sign written ‘Finest Beef, Quality
Butcher, Est. 1890’. Fitted with lamp brackets, steps and grab
Lot 15 - THREE-WHEEL MILK FLOAT circa 1900; a smart and sound
delivery hand cart painted cream and red. The undercarriage, wheels
and bread box are painted cream with red lining, and the body is
painted red and sign written on the sides ‘G. Latham & Son, Garston
Dairy, Caterham. Tel. 295’, ‘Pure Milk’ on the drop down panel, and
‘Fresh Dairy Cream’ on the roof.
