A smaller entry than usual, due mainly to the 2 ‘end of tax year’ auctions a fortnight ago. Nevertheless, another full yard with good interest and some very tidy late kit on show. Yet again the internet did the trade proud, alongside the hardy souls who braved the weather, we were promised showers but in the end only had one – which lasted 7 hours! The slight strengthening of the £ did not affect the trade at all with plenty going overseas. New buyers on the ground led to an increase in trade, mainly for generators. Great interest in dumpers, excavators & rollers once again.
