The sale site is situated in the on the north western outskirts of Berkhamsted. Exit the A41 onto the A416 (Kingshill Way) to Berkhamsted, take the first exit at the roundabout, keep left to Shootersway and follow direction signs. See map on inside back cover of catalogue.
Parking:
There will be ample onsite parking in an adjoining field, weather permitting. Please note – restricted access – not suitable for HGV’s
Viewing:
Friday 29th September between 10am and 4pm and throughout the day of sale from 8.30am.
Registration:
All prospective purchasers must register at the auction office on arrival, whereupon they will be issued with a bidding number. Customers unknown to the auctioneers will be required to provide satisfactory proof of identity ie driving licence/passport unless a satisfactory bank reference has previously been received. Failing that a £500 cash deposit will be required.
Payment:
Payment for all lots is due on the day of sale. Our terms are strictly CASH, DEBIT CARD or BANK TRANSFER. Customers unknown to us and wishing to pay by cheque must produce a bankers reference. Payment by CREDIT CARD is also acceptable but subject to a 2% (+VAT) surcharge. Our Bankers are: NATIONAL WESTMINSTER BANK, Reading Market Place Branch, Account No: 95544070, Sort Code 60:17:21. Payment in Cash:
In order to comply with money laundering regulations we will not accept payments in cash exceeding £9,000. Cash payments in excess of £4,000 must be accompanied by valid proof of identity ie passport/driving licence, supported by 2 utility bills, bank statement or equivalent. Cash payments via your bank will no longer be permitted. The Auctioneers will only accept payment from and permit removal of goods purchased by the successful purchased or their duly appointed agent. No lots will be transferred to third party invoices after the auction.
Commissions to Purchase:
Will be executed with care and judgment by the auctioneers on receipt of full written instructions providing prospective purchasers have previously inspected the goods in
question.
Value Added Tax:
No VAT is payable other than on Auctioneer’s charges that apply.
Risk:
All lots remain at the risk of the purchaser from the fall of the hammer. Purchasers are strongly advised to insure their purchases at once.
All lots should be removed as soon as possible after the sale and in any event NO LATER THAN CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON WEDNESDAY 4th OCTOBER 2017 . The premises will
be open for clearance between 9am and 12 noon on Sunday 1st October 2017 providing cleared funds have been received.
Descriptions:
All lots have been described to the best of our ability from information supplied. No liability whatsoever is undertaken in respect of faults, deficiencies and error of description either oral or printed. ALL LOTS ARE SOLD AS SEEN WITHOUT WARRANTY and are available for inspection prior to sale. Try it before you buy it!
Hire Purchase:
We would respectfully remind buyers wishing to purchase goods on finance that they should make such arrangements before they make their purchases as payment is due in full at the fall of the hammer in accordance with our terms of business and conditions of sale.
Buyers Premium:
A buyers premium of 5% plus VAT on the premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot. Internet Buyers Premium is 6% plus VAT.
Refreshments:
Light refreshments will be available.

For safety reasons do not start or operate any machine on this site. Machines will be run and demonstrated on request. Please ask Auction Staff for assistance.
EU CONFORMITY
Purchasers must satisfy themselves as to the suitability of equipment for export markets and the organisers accept no liability in any respect whatsoever. Certificates
of Conformity are not supplied with equipment but in most cases will be available from the manufacturer.
It shall be the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure safe use of any lots purchased and comply with all relevant legislation regarding safe use of such lots.

A £500 deposit will be taken from all on line bidders wishing to bid via www.i-bidder.com prior to the auction.
The auctioneers reserve the right to refuse or withdraw on line bidding facilities without reason.

OVERSEAS PURCHASERS
