Farm Machinery Entry Form

 

  1. Conditions of Sale – All lots will be offered subject to Thimbleby and Shorland’s usual Conditions of Sale, which are available on request.
  2. Entries – Should be in the Auctioneers’ hands as soon as possible.
  3. Delivery – All lots must be delivered to auction site. The Auctioneers reserve the right to refuse delivery of all or any lot at their discretion.
  4. Reserve Prices – All reserve prices should be made in writing, otherwise no responsibility can be accepted for errors.
  5. Liability – The Auctioneers do not accept responsibility for any accident, loss or damage from any cause whatsoever which may occur on the auction premises. Unloading and loading facilities are available entirely at the risk of the vendor or purchaser, whichever the case may be. All lots are at the vendors’ risk until sold and at the purchasers’ risk thereafter.
  6. Clearance – All lots become the responsibility of the purchaser at the fall of the hammer and any unsold lots remain the responsibility of the vendor. In any event all lots should be removed in their entirety from the auction site within 7 days of the sale.
  7. Descriptions – All lots will be described to the best of the Auctioneers ability from information supplied by the vendors who alone shall be responsible for any errors or mis-statement. The Auctioneers undertake no liability whatever in respect of faults, deficiencies and errors of description, oral or printed, nor do they accept responsibility for the authenticity, genuineness, condition, origin, age, mileage or quality of any lot and NO WARRANTIES are given or implied.
  8. Vehicle Registration Documents – It is essential that any vehicles entered for sale and registered for use on the public highway must be accompanied by the registration document and current MOT certificate, if appropriate.
  9. Payment to Vendor – Will be made 14 days after the sale date. No interest is payable to vendors on sale monies held by the Auctioneers.
